Kelly Woodlock leads efforts to advance Start Early’s National Home Visiting Strategy to ensure home visiting is positioned as a vital component of the early childhood care and education system. She collaborates with external partners to create effective systems that center equity and provide intentional spaces for families, early childhood professionals, and community members to lead as change agents. She collaborates on the strategic planning and implementation of Start Early’s professional development portfolio to ensure equitable access to quality professional learning supports for early childhood professionals.
Kelly serves as a co-director and senior advisor on federal projects and as an advisory member and thought leader on several networks and committees. She has a vested interest in contributing to workforce equity and family voice initiatives.
Kelly’s areas of experience include home visiting program systems, early childhood development, infant and early childhood mental health, and professional development for the early childhood workforce. Kelly earned baccalaureate degrees from the University of Kansas and the University of Montana and a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Development from the Erikson Institute. She began her career as a home visitor.
