The 2023 Start Early Annual Luncheon

Maternal Health Can Change a Child’s Future

parent and child laughingEvery child deserves the best start in life. Their health in the earliest years begins with the well-being of all mothers and birthing parents. Ensuring equitable access to maternal health care – before, during and after birth – gives every child the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Our theme this year focused on advancing maternal health equity so every mother and child can reach their full potential of lifelong well-being. We’ll discuss the longstanding inequities in maternal health for women of color, especially Black women, the crucial need to address systemic racism and discrimination to drive change and the solutions that are making a difference.

Ensuring equitable access to maternal health care gives every child the opportunity to thrive. Your donation helps provide access to quality early learning and care for mothers and their children living in under-resourced communities.
