Teresa Bennett is a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 1. She has worked in the childcare field for 23 years now. Teresa started off as a teacher and worked in that capacity for 8 years. She enjoyed engaging with the families so much that she wanted to see what it was like to work with them more closely as she is also a former Head Start child and parent. Teresa can remember what it was like to receive assistance from people who she truly felt cared about her and her children’s wellbeing and wanted her to achieve in the goals that she set for herself and her family. She wanted to be that type of support to others as well.

Teresa feels like she has made a difference when a parent comes back to her and thanks her for assisting them in achieving a goal or just being a listening ear when they wanted to share. Family support is by far not an easy job but it is fulfilling to see when you have made a difference in someone’s life.
