Suzanne Woodward, BS (she/her), directs communications for national maternal health and equity programs, with a specialty in consumer engagement, digital and traditional media strategies, branding and project design, and creativity in public relations campaigns. Suzanne currently leads the communications for the UNC Collaborative for Maternal and Infant Health (UNC CMIH). Within her CMIH work, Suzanne co-develops and manages resources, campaigns, and project strategy for the 4th Trimester Project, Maternal Health Learning and Innovation Center, the Show Your Love Initiative, and NC-specific quality care and research studies, such as ACURE4Moms, Safe Sleep NC, Incarcerated Women’s Health, and more. Suzanne is passionate about engagement: listening and building relationships with key audiences to better learn, serve, and build community. In Suzanne’s roles, she has the pulse of engaging new parents and their care teams online to support their needs and create resources that are delivered in a way that is impactful and valuable to them.
