As a manager on the Start Early Consulting team, Susanne Beilmann delivers consulting to public sector leaders and advocates at the state and community level, helping build high quality and equitable prenatal to five systems. She actively seeks to center the voices of families and providers in consulting services she provides, with experience in Colorado, Kentucky, New York and Memphis, Tennessee. Susanne brings subject matter expertise in advocacy strategy, policy analysis, and quality rating and improvement systems and experience building coalition to increase funding, equity and sustainability.
Prior to joining Start Early, she worked as an advocate for child care providers and families to increase engagement and leadership in policymaking. She has worked at a women’s anti-violence organization in British Columbia as well as with the UN Refugee Agency in Colombia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in public policy, both from the University of British Columbia. Susanne lives in Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and two sons.
