This week, Start Early appeared on Chicago’s WVON Morning Show to discuss Start Early’s work in Chicago and across the country. Diana McClarien, vice president of our Early/Head Start Network, and Mary Towers, senior program advisor, spoke with WVON’s Rufus Williams on the impact Start Early has made in the last 40 years and shared their experience working in early learning programs across Chicago.
The group also discussed the importance of prenatal and postnatal care, and the crucial role home visitors and doula’s play in a child’s development.
