Alex Patricelli serves as the Community Partnership Manager for Start Early Washington, where she leads with a deep commitment to building equitable, culturally responsive early childhood systems across Washington State. Her work centers the voices, strengths, and lived experiences of families, communities, and providers to ensure that early learning systems reflect and honor those they serve.
Alex’s professional journey has been rooted in service to children and families. Prior to joining Start Early Washington, she supported Tribal communities throughout the South Puget Sound in several roles, including para-educator at Chief Leschi Tribal Schools; case aide and intake specialist for Tribal TANF/WFD; and home visitor and supervisor for a Tribal home visiting program.
Alex is an enrolled member of Tlingit and Haida, a devoted mother of two Indigenous boys, and wife to her high school sweetheart. She is also a proud daughter, sister, and auntie. Alex and her family live, work, play, and benefit from the lands of the Nisqually people who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial. She gratefully acknowledges, honors, and uplifts the Nisqually Nation and their sovereignty.
