Together for Children with Disabilities: Resources for Advocates

Watch the recording of our October 2025 webinar and explore a companion fact sheet to learn about recent federal changes—and how you can take action to support young children with disabilities and their families.

October 23, 2025

Key Findings

Start Early, in collaboration with national partners, has launched Together for Children with Disabilities — a new campaign to strengthen national advocacy for young children with disabilities and their families.

Amid ongoing federal changes and uncertainty, staying informed and connected is more important than ever. Building on decades of advocacy experience, Start Early is helping to unite and equip the field by:

  • Convening a national coalition of advocates and organizations committed to advancing inclusion and support for young children with disabilities;
  • Providing technical assistance to state and local leaders on the front lines; and
  • Developing and sharing advocacy tools, resources and webinars to help early childhood professionals, policymakers and supporters take action.

We launched this effort with a fact sheet, created in partnership with New America, summarizing key federal policy developments and offering guidance for action at the local, state and national levels.

On October 20, 2025, we continued this momentum through a webinar co-hosted with New America, MomsRising, The Arc of the United States and Georgetown University Center for Children and Families. National experts shared the latest updates on federal developments and offered concrete steps advocates can take right now to support children and families in their communities.
